Sun Country Airlines announced it will be adding the route the Costa Rica-Dallas route to its options starting the summer of 2020.
Sun Country will connect Dallas, -Fort Worth (DFW) to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) during the months of June, July and August 2020, with a flight departing at 8:00 a.m. from the Dallas Fort Worth airport ad arriving at the Daniel Oduber airport in Liberia, Guanacaste at 11:05 a.m.; the plane will then depart from Costa Rica at 12:05 p.m. to arrive in Dallas at 5:10 p.m.

From January through September this year there have been 460,027 international arrivals registered at the Daniel Oduber airport according to data gathered by the General Directorate of Migration and processed by the Costa Rican Tourism Board, out of which 75% come from the United States, the main tourism market for Costa Rica.
The airline will begin operations Saturday, June 13 and will offer the service through Saturday, August 15.
