Now we have a fake serial bomber to deal with. The FBI scrambled and quickly arrested a suspect accused of sending 14 fake pipe bombs through the snail mail U.S. Postal Service to offices and homes of current and past Democratic leaders and supporters from California to Washington, DC.

Clearly this is domestic terrorism obviously brought about by a far-right-wing extremist with misguided support for President Donald Trump. This arrest is to be celebrated.

The 11th and 12th fake explosive devices were found Friday – one in Florida addressed to U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and the other in Manhattan addressed to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. An FBI spokesman confirmed the devices were “similar to the others.” The first fake bomb was found Monday in the mailbox of big-time Democrat donor billionaire George Soros while the others were discovered on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Late Friday morning major news sources announced that a male suspect identified as Cesar Sayoc, 56, of Aventura, Florida had been arrested in Florida in connection with the mail bombs. The FBI did not immediately release details of the arrest. However, sources said the man was known to police and had a history of making terroristic threats.

Wild speculation about the source of the phony bombs ranges from President Trump to the Democrats themselves. But these bogus bombs, subsequent investigation and the lone arrest has diminished mainstream media coverage of the ‘caravan’ of Central Americans now traveling through Mexico to the southern border with the USA, the assassination of a Washington Post opinion writer in Turkey who was highly critical of Saudi Arabia and President Trump’s second appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. These stories have taken a back seat to the baloney bomber.

It will be interesting to see if the FBI comes up with additional arrests. Using all the latest investigative techniques available to the FBI paid off with a fast arrest and thank God for that. Conspiracy theorists would go on and on that the FBI is again protecting the guilty like they did with former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her email scandal. Some even said it was the Russians sending the worthless bombs.

According to news reports, each of those mailed fake bombs contained the same return address in Sunshine, Florida that of former Democratic National Committee chairwoman U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) who resigned the chairmanship in disgrace during the 2016 presidential campaign. She has denied any involvement as she seeks another term in Congress. Little Debbie just won’t go away.

The future reputation of the FBI is at stake here. FBI Director Christopher Wray has said he is giving this serial bomber case his highest priority. Media speculation about suspect and why this was happening now is useless banter and they should get back to reporting real news – if that is possible — while the professional investigators do their job.

What’s really going on here is hard to pin down but it’s not helping the Democrats one bit in their efforts to regain control of the U.S. Congress. In fact, this fake bomber story is helping the Republicans more than the Democrats. The suspect who allegedly mailed the baloney bombs could not have picked a more deserving list to receive one of the illegal terroristic calling cards – wacko U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), the Clintons, billionaire Soros, former President Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, actor Robert De Niro, Cable News Network (CNN), former CIA Director John Brennan, U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and former Attorney General Eric Holder. Both Waters and Biden received two bogus bombs – what an honor!

What’s really weird is none of the baloney bombs exploded causing no injuries — except to the Democrats. The suspect is facing 48 years in federal prison upon conviction.

It’s perfectly clear the Democrats — with their endless attacks upon President Trump, his ‘America First’ agenda and his supporters — are gaining no traction toward a nationwide ‘blue wave’ come Nov. 6. Bombs away!
