Houston, Sep 28 (EFE; additional reporting by The Costa Rica Star).– Nothing can stop the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots (3-0), who crushed the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) 51-17 over the weekend in the third week of the NFL season, with six other teams still undefeated.
Quarterback Tom Brady, placekicker Stephen Gostkowski and running back LeGarrette Blount led the Patriots to their lopsided win.
Brady threw for two touchdowns, including the 400th of his career, becoming the fourth NFL player to reach this milestone, and later adding another passing TD to his career total.
Brady completed 33 of 42 passes for 358 yards and led New England to scores on all nine of its drives.
Gostkowski nailed all six of his point-after attempts, setting an NFL record of 425 extra points in a row. The NFL’s leading scorer for the past three seasons also made three field goals.
Blount ran for three one-yard touchdowns. EFE

The star quarterback and his wife, supermodel Giselle Bundchen, are the proud owners of prime real estate in the town of Herradura, not far from Jaco Beach. This fabulous couple can be seen in Costa Rica a couple of months each year.
As previously reported by The Costa Rica Star, Mr. Brady and his wife often make headlines when they stay in our country, which is usually after the Super Bowl. They enjoy horseback riding, yoga, cliff diving, and spending time with their children at the beach.
Mr. Brady’s life in Costa Rica has not been without controversy. During the couple’s 2009 wedding, bodyguards working for The couple fired their weapons several times at photographers on assignment for AFP. The photographers sued in Puntarenas court.
