Guadalajara, Mexico, Mar 11 (EFE).- Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman says having a part in “Spectre,” the latest James Bond film, is “a dream job.”

“You want to be in those movies. These are dream jobs you want to keep getting,” Sigman said in an interview with Efe during a break in promoting “Alicia en el país de María,” an entry in the Guadalajara Film Festival.

Sigman plays Estrella in the 24th installment of the long-running series of films featuring Agent 007, the movie’s producers said Tuesday and the actress confirmed on social networks.

The 27-year-old Sigman will share screen time with Italy’s Monica Bellucci, 50, and France’s Lea Seydoux, 29, already signed for the production, and British actor Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond.

The Mexican actress said she was “thrilled to work with this team.”

Sigman, who had the lead role in the Mexican movie “Miss Bala” and worked on the TV series “The Bridge,” said she was delighted by the last Bond film because she was a fan of director Sam Mendes, who is also directing “Spectre.”

The actress said the new role was coming at the right time in her career, but she did not reveal anything about the film.

Asked about her favorite Bond film, Sigman said “all of them have something special, and that is what Agent 007 is all about.” EFE
