After watching these 20-plus Democratic presidential candidates attempt to be regular folks — at the Iowa State Fair — it’s fair to assume none of these candidates have what it will take to unseat President Donald Trump in 2020.

It was hysterical watching news reports coming out of the state fair showing the likes of U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) walking around holding a deep fried corn dog on a stick. News reports say Warren never took a bite and threw it away. Same goes for U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) taking a bite out of a gravy-soaked fried pork chop on a stick. Those pictures are priceless.

It’s fair to say these Democrats looked way out of place out there in the middle of ‘Corn Country’ where farmers are kings. Every four years the state of Iowa gets the honor of kicking off the National Political Olympics with the first-in-the-nation caucus vote that will take place Feb. 3, 2020 and then it’s on to full-blown primary season leading up to political party nominations for president for both the Democrats and the Republicans. It will be another year that independent voters get left out in the bitter cold until the bitter end in November.

This display of political rhetoric during the fair’s ‘Political Soapbox’ speeches clearly showed a ‘disconnect’ between regular Americans and these Socialist Democrats. There were no big crowds watching their silly speeches. They were just a passing fancy. Iowa natives go to the annual state fair to show off their livestock, listen to some good ole country music, ride the Ferris Wheel and eat and then eat some more. They were not into politics.

Down deep within the Democratic National Committee there surely must be a growing fear that former Vice President Joe Biden is not the man to go up against President Trump next year. Every time Biden speaks he lets out gaffe after gaffe after gaffe. He just can’t stop making gaffes … big ones. He claimed that young survivors of the high school mass shooting in 2017 in Parkland, Florida came to see him in Washington while he was vice president. Wrong! It’s high time that good-ole Joe step aside, but who steps in?

Biden still leads in the Democratic polls. Even at the Iowa State Fair Biden won the ‘corn poll’ where informal voters placed a dried corn kernel in a Mason jar with his name on it. All the candidates had their own Mason jar. The mayor of South Bend, Indiana, candidate Pete Buttigieg took second place in the ‘corn poll.’ The Mason jar with President Trump’s name on it overflowed with corn kernels far above Biden’s count. This is kind of corny but that’s how Iowa rolls.

If Biden drops out who’s in? Warren? Harris? U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT)?

Here’s a quick look at what Sanders had to say at the fair’s Political Soapbox: “(Trump is) the most dangerous president in the history of our country,” Bernie blurted out to a few fair goers. “Donald Trump is an idiot.” Bash Trump, bash Trump is all they have to say these days.

President Trump is not mean, evil, racist or hateful — just a man fighting to save the real American Dream and not the fake one being flung at us by the Socialist Democrats who think they know what’s best for everyone else.

But the question remains for the Democrats who can they get to step in and take command of the Democratic nomination for president in 2020 that stands any chance of beating President Trump?

How about billionaire and reality TV star Mark Cuban, 61, of Dallas, Texas, who owns the National Basketball Association team the Dallas Mavericks? He has toyed with the idea of running for president before. He has changed his mind about a presidential run several times.

Most recently in March 2019, Cuban is on record saying if he did run for president it would be as a Republican, but then in May 2019, he stated he might run as an independent. So far the Democrats have expressed no interest in recruiting Cuban, but they should.

“It would take the perfect storm for me to do it,” Cuban stated, according to Wikipedia. “There’s some things that could open the door, but I’m not projecting or predicting it right now.”

Trump supporters hope Cuban stays in Texas playing basketball and out of politics. But for the Democrats they do not have the supremacy to take the presidency away from Trump – not with Biden, Warren, Harris, Sanders or any of the others. On Nov. 4, 2020, the day after the national election — the headlines will read, “Trump Wins 2nd Term.”
