(TRAVPR.COM) USA – April 28th, 2015 – Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) by AMResorts continues its rapid expansion with the recent news that it will open eight new properties in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean over the next three years. Upon completion, these latest additions will bring the total of UVC hotels to 45 with a combined 17,087 rooms in 23 destinations across Mexico, Costa Rica, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St. Thomas, Panama and Aruba.

The aggressive growth strategy has successfully established the UVC footprint in leading beach and sun destinations convenient to the Club’s major markets in the United States. UVC’s expansion builds on the momentum of 2014, when its portfolio increased 20 percent, with the opening of five resorts. As part of this growth, the Club made its debut in Costa Rica and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Latin American Expansion

• Secrets® Papagayo Costa Rica: Following a major renovation, the Papagayo Resort & Spa will reopen in late 2015 under the adults-only Secrets Resorts & Spa brand. The revitalized, 202-suite resort – UVC’s second in Costa Rica – will be situated on a private beach, surrounded by tropical gardens, in the spectacular Papagayo Peninsula in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. From the resort’s sparkling pools and beautiful beach to live nightly entertainment and a variety of land and water sports, activities here will be endless.
• Dreams® Buenaventura Panama: UVC will mark its debut in Panama in 2016 with the opening of this 614-suite resort. Minutes from Rio Hato International Airport, the property will be located in the gated, coastal community of Buenaventura, home to home-end villas and resorts. This development will treat guests and residents to lush gardens; lagoons; a white-sand beach; and a variety of luxury pursuits, including the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-design championship golf course, sport fishing, sailing and tours of its pristine eco-system.
