Late Friday night U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the “effective immediately” firing of former Federal Bureau of Investigation Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, just two days before he would have retired with full benefits at 49-years-old – after 22-years with the FBI. He left his FBI position in January.

Soon after the announcement, at 12:08 am Saturday, President Donald Trump ‘tweets’ that McCabe’s firing represented “a great day for Democracy … Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI … Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choir boy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI.”

This ‘tweet’ has to be one of the strongest messages yet to come from President Trump. So is this the end of the road for McCabe? Not by a long shot. Calls for a special prosecutor to look into McCabe’s and former FBI Director James Comey’s role in the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email practices – and other matters — are growing by the day. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and committee member Sen. Lindsey Graham, both Republicans, called for a second special counsel to investigate alleged abuses of the FISA process (surveillance warrants) and the FBI’s activity during the 2016 election, in a Thursday interview on Fox News.

Late last week, more once-secret texts between a high-level FBI agent and FBI lawyer – alleged to be having an extramarital affair – have been released showing extreme bias against President Trump during his campaign for president, his transition period and since he took office. All of these matters are under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice’s independent Inspector General’s Office under the direction of Michael Horowitz.

News reports say it was Horowitz that issued a confidential report in conjunction with the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility that urged McCabe be fired and he was for ‘lying under oath.’

In his statement, Sessions said “McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor – including under oath – on multiple occasions.”

Of course mainstream media is about to have a major blow out over the McCabe firing. There is non-stop McCabe coverage since Friday night, Saturday morning news shows and Sunday, too. No doubt there are more FBI and possible U.S. Department of Justice firings coming down after IG Horowitz issues his report on his findings and his recommendations for further actions expected sometime in April.

McCabe claims he never lied to congress or misled the Inspector General’s Office.

“This attack on my credibility is one part of larger effort … to taint the FBI, law enforcement, and the intelligence professionals more generally,” said MaCabe in a lengthy statement after learning of his firing on TV news reports. “It is part of this Administration’s ongoing war on the FBI and the efforts of the Special Counsel investigation … .”

McCabe took over as Interim FBI Director after President Trump fired Comey last year and he oversaw the beginnings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump Campaign/Russian collusion probe.

Now folks this is what “drain the swamp” is all about. Comey, McCabe and others at the FBI currently under investigation by the Inspector General’s Office and some at DOJ may be facing criminal charges, not just the possible loss of a benefit package. All of this ongoing high-political drama is nowhere near over as President Trump continues to go after these suspected ‘G-Man’ criminals that attempted to use inner high-level government workings to pursue a private-citizen-political opponent.

Not only are calls for a another special counsel/prosecutor becoming louder, but some are clamoring for Attorney General Sessions to convene a special grand jury to review the evidence against MaCabe, but also Comey who, according to news reports, also lied to congress during his ‘under oath’ testimony involving his conclusion not to charge Hillary Clinton with anything related to her email practices or the Clinton ‘Pay-to-Play’ Foundation just prior to the Nov. 2016 national election which Clinton lost to Trump.

Comey is due to release his memoirs in a book entitled “A Higher Loyalty” on April 17 to be published by Flatiron Books, who moved up the release date from May 1 in order to capitalize on the ‘sensational’ aspect of this entire controversy involving the president, Comey, MaCabe, Clinton and others, according to the New York Post.

The former disgraced FBI director can write all the books he wants, MaCabe too. But things at the FBI, DOJ and the U.S. State Department under Sec. John Kerry apparently got way out of control during Campaign 2016 and it’s time to ‘pay the piper.’ Comey had a higher loyalty alright – to the Clinton political machine – to save the American people from a Trump presidency. They all failed and the American people elected the most controversial president ever to occupy the Oval Office.
