The first stage of the real estate project Jacó Walk in the beach-town of Jacó, Puntarenas was inaugurated this past March 19, and it involves 50 commercial spots.
$8 million USD was the investment involved in this first stage which has 10,000 square meters of construction which are occupied by brands like: Bac San José-Credomatic, Subway, Rip Curl, Pharmacy don Gerardo, Movistar, Claro, Tsunami Sushi, La Hamburguesía restaurant, Puddle Fish craft bear, ice-cream shops Moyo and La Paletería among many others. There is also an ecological trail that is meant to provide visitors with an opportunity to relax and enjoy nature.
Jacó Walk will have a total of three stages and will include two hotels, a sports park, a beach club, residential condominiums and of course the necessary parking spaces. The spaces will be pet friendly and they will have a stage for entertainment activities.
The project used ecofriendly construction materials and has elements that will contribute with a lower electricity consumption.
It is expected that Jacó walk will generate at least 500 direct jobs and once it is completed this number will increase to 1,000.
The second stage will be concluded by the end of 2018 and will include a 56-room boutique hotel and another block of commercial spots; also the sports park, a convenience store and a clinic.
The third and last stage will involve the building of a beach club and another hotel of 120 rooms and the residential area and will begin in 2019 and extend through 2022.
