The beautiful community of Uvita will be the scenery of the 7th annual Envision festival, February 23rd through February 26th; an experience like no other, yoga, music, dance, education, meditation, sustainability, art and spirituality in connection with the incomparable nature of this beautiful country.
What is the Envision Festival?
It’s about envisioning a better world, learning about a better lifestyle, a more balanced life, it’s about wellness of mind, body and spirit.
This event brings people together with the purpose of experiencing through different forms of art a higher level of consciousness; through a variety of disciplines it hopes to bring people closer to nature, and closer to their inner peace and happiness. The eight pillars of Envision are: Permaculture, Spirituality, Movement, Art, Music, Community, Health and Ecobuilding
The Envision Festival 2017 will include:
Music: Opiuo, Autograf, Rising Appalachia, Pantyraid, Ott., Papadosio, Goldfish, Random Rab and many other artists that will provide an amazing ambiance during the whole festival.
Yoga Festival: Sianna Sherman, Amber Ryan, Kevin Courtney, Christopher “Hareesh” Wallis, Kishan Shah, Hoopalicious and Sofiah Thom are just part of the large world-class lineup that will guide assisting public in a variety of yoga, dance and sacred movement classes.
Workshops: from permaculture to herbal medicine and primitive skills development classes, the event includes a number of different spoken workshops. Attending speakers include the likes of John Perkins, Economist, Author and Activist, who served as advisory to the World Bank, United Nations, IMF, U.S. Treasury Department, Fortune 500 corporations and different leaders around the world. The event will also have the participation of Crimson Rose, co-founder or Burning Man and the Black Rock Arts Foundation.
Performance artists: Quixotic, Kinetic Junglist Movement, Pyrodanza, Fractal Tribe, Bijoulette and Lunar Fire. Entertainment in every corner of the festival.
Four days of days of incredible activity in an area featuring beautiful beaches and wildlife.
Last year the organization sold almost 5,000 tickets, and according to their website the tickets for this year’s event are almost sold out, so if you wish to attend you better hurry.
