Talking to EFE, the child’s mother, Izabela, praised Cristiano as “charming” during a photo session with the player at the team’s hotel in Warsaw.
In 2013, Izabela’s son Dawid regained consciousness after a three month period of unconsciousness upon hearing Ronaldo score a goal during a game. Pawlaczyc had entered into a coma after being hit in a traffic accident while riding his bicycle, explained his mother.
Dawid’s doctors recommended that his parents put headphones on the soccer fanatic so he could listen to the Real Madrid games while in a coma, hoping this might trigger a response, according to Spanish news sources
Cristiano Ronaldo and David Pawlaczyc first met in April 2014 when the player invited the young Polish boy to the Santiago Bernabeu to watch the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. EFE
