Grupo Britt Costa Rica is holding a job fair in Guanacaste this week from September 11 – 14 where the company aims to hire at least 50 people for its stores, and new food and beverage outlets.
For its Britt cafés, the company is hiring food and beverage supervisors, baristas, kitchen assistants, wait staff, tellers, and cleaning assistants.
All positions except cleaning positions require a high school diploma; cleaning staff require a primary school certificate of completion.
Most positions also require current food manipulation basic training, and intermediate or advanced English, as well as the ability to work different shifts.
At Grupo Britt stores, the company requires cashier positions, and seeks candidates with similar backgrounds but who also have sales and customer service experience.
The employment fair is being held at Liberia’s Hotel Boyeros this week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those interested in positions at Britt cafés should attend the fair on September 11 and 12, and those interested in retail positions on September 13 and 14, said the company.
“For Grupo Britt, human talent is our greatest asset, and with our expansion in the area, we are seeking to find the right people to accompany us during out growth, and to provide the excellent service that characterizes our service to customers,”vsaid Paola Alfaro, Corporate Human Resources Manager of Grupo Britt.
Those interested in applying for these positions must fill out information before attending the fair on the company website. Due to privacy and security issues, Grupo Britt said they will not receive printed or digital copies of people’s resumes during the fair.
