The 8th edition of the WODfest will take place in Costa Rica this December 1 and 2 at the Villa Olímpica in Desamparados.

This year the event expects to attract close to 300 athletes from Central America, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, United States and even England, Scotland and Kuwait.

WODfest has positioned itself as the biggest event of its kind in Central America, geared towards individual athletes in different levels.

Categories go from Kids Scaled (6-10 years of age), Kids RX (9-12 years old), Masters Male and Female (35+), Teens Male and Female (13-17 years old), RX and Scaled.

The event will also include food stands, sponsor stands, kids entertainment area, activities and more.

The competition will include different exercises in which participants will put their strength, resistance and power to test.

WODFest will begin at 8 a.m. and tickets are available for a cost of 8 thousand colones one day or 13 thousand colones both days and can be purchased at CrossFit SNAGA, Reebok in Multiplaza Escazu, Rep Store in Desamparados and Heredia or at the venue the day of the event.
