The 6th annual Costa Rica Blues Festival is scheduled to take place on February 18th starting at 11 a.m. and it will extend through 11 p.m. at the Costa Rica Sailing Center in Playa Potrero, Guanacaste.

Featuring the likes of: Diunna Greenleaf and Blue Mercy from Houston, Texas; The Chris Ruest Trio featuring Gene Taylor from Austin, Texas; Donnie Walsh & The Leatherbacks from Canada, Blues Devils from Costa Rica, and many more.

Tickets are available in pre-sale at $25.00 USD and the day of the event they will sell for $30.00 USD. In San Jose the tickets can be purchased at El Cuartel de la Boca del Monte, in Tamarindo at Blue Moon Costa Rica and at the Sailing Center and The Smokin Pig in Potrero Beach. Food and drinks will be available at the event.

The outdoor concert is organized by Blue Moon Costa Rica and is a Benefit Concert for Abriendo Mentes (Opening Minds), an organization that provides innovative education and community development programs for children and adults from rural/undeserved communities in Guanacaste.
