One of the most anticipated matches of the Copa America Centenario, which is currently unfolding across the United States, will take place on Tuesday, June 7th at the magnificent Soldier Field in Chicago.

For the United States,the match against Costa Rica will define the team’s chances to stay in the tournament. Recent match history between these two top CONCACAF teams gives La Sele an edge against Team USA, but Costa Rica will face an opponent that is expected to be heavily offensive.

According to a recent news release by Will Parchman of SoundersFC.com, center forward Clint Dempsey was not utilized effectively by embattled Team USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann, a German football legend that has faced heavy criticism from fans since before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Dempsey will be a player to watch for La Sele, particularly during corner kick action.

La Sele will likely adopt a defensive measure and use counterattacks against Team USA; however, strong defender Kendall Waston will not start due to red card earned in the match against Paraguay. Two of the most explosive strikers, Joel Campbell and Johan Venegas, did not perform well in their first match.
