Britt Coffee continues to grow in and out of Costa Rica, this time with the Britt Café & Bakery division that already has six locations in the country and expects to open at least three more in 2019.
“We have plans for 2019 to open three more coffee shops in the Great Metropolitan Area (GAM). For the second semester of 2019 we expect to have the first opening of an international franchise”, said Byron Mora, operations manager of Alimentos & Experiencias (Food & Experiences) of Britt Coffee in an interview with local daily El Financiero.
The six existing coffee shops are located in the two international airports – Juan Santamaria and Daniel Oduber -, at the Jacó Walk commercial plaza, the Biblica Hospital in San José and in Multiplaza Mall Escazú this was the last one to open doors and it required an investment of $500,000.00 USD.
The coffee shops offer in addition to Britt coffee different snacks like sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and more.
Back in 2017 Britt Group divided into two divisions, Café & Chocolates Britt (Britt Coffee & Chocolates) and Morpho Travel Retail.
Café & Chocolates Britt handles everything that has to do with the coffee and chocolate products with concepts such as the Britt Espresso, Britt Café & Bakery, CoffeeTour, among others.
Morpho Travel Retail took over all businesses targeted to travelers, such as BrittShop, Morpho, Travel Zone, Travel Market, X-Plora ooks, EmeraldMe, Rumbo Sur and Mercadito Gourmet.
