Oscar-nominated actor Josh Brolin recently enjoyed the beaches of Costa Rica along with his fiancée Kathryn Boyd. According to British newspaper The Daily Mail, the couple spent a vacation somewhere in the Pacific coast, and they both took surfing lessons as well as ATV tours.

 

Various photos of Mr. Brolin and Miss Boyd enjoying their vacation in Costa Rica were uploaded to the actor´s Instagram account. A film in which Mr. Brolin starred is currently making its theater debut and getting positive reviews. Hail Cesar!, a movie directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, is set in 1950s Hollywood. In this film, Mr. Brolin plays the role of Eddie Mannix, a studio boss and fixer who is based on an amalgam of legendary producers such a Louis B. Mayer.

 

Mr. Brolin´s acting career dates back to The Goonies in 1985. He played one of his most celebrated roles in No Country for Old Men, a film also directed by the Coen brothers. That film earned various Oscar awards, and Mr. Brolin was considered to be in the running for Best Actor; however, Spanish actor Javier Bardem impressed judges with his performance as a very odd and scary hitman. Mr. Brolin would later be nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for the 2008 film Milk.

 

After his time in Costa Rica, Mr. Brolin will start working on a film about the firefighting pilots who died while trying to contain the Yarnell Hill fire during the 2013 wildfire and drought season in Arizona.
