As every year, Father’s Day is celebrated in Costa Rica on the third Sunday of June. This year, local companies and brands have taken advantage of this opportunity to offer promotions, contests, and discounts aimed towards those looking for the perfect gift for Dad.

Telephone and Communications giant, ICE expects to provide Costa Rican fathers with phones and an unprecedented cashback offer with a promotion called “Prepaid Father’s Day”. BAC is offering a round trip to an exotic destination to a lucky father who used BAC’s debit card during the month of June. A popular, non-traditional gift for Costa Ricans, esthetic treatments for males, has entered the list this year along with the traditional Father’s Day ties, colognes, clothes and technological products. Places like L’Occitane are offering up to 30% off in some of their products today.

The options at malls and shopping centers today are heavily influenced by this holiday, but if you’re done with your gift shopping already, then here’s a look into today’s agenda of family-oriented activities in Costa Rica.
