American singer, songwriter and actress Demi Lovato will be offering a concert in Costa Rica May 1st at Parque Viva, confirmed Backstage Magazine.
This will be the second time the famous singer performs in the country, but the first time as the main act, since in 2010 she came as part of The Jonas Brothers concert. Lovato actually fell during one of the songs but recovered quickly, the small incident though was all over the internet.
The stop in Costa Rica is part of her word tour “Demi Lovato Tell me You Love Me”.
Demi Lovato is a Grammy nominated and multi-platinum singer, songwriter, actress and business woman, she also is one of the biggest names on social media with over 145 million followers.
Lovato first rose to fame as part of Disney Channel’s television –film Camp Rock and the release of her debut single “This is Me”; lead singles such as “Skyscraper” and “Give Your Heart a Break” earned her multiple recognition. She also participated as a judge in talent show The X Factor .
The young singer has released six studio albums. In July 2017, she released the first single off her album Tell Me You Love Me, which instantly flew into the Top 5 on the iTunes Charts. “Sorry Not Sorry“, which has garnered over 195 million streams and climbed to #1 on the viral charts.
Lovato is also an active philanthropist involved in several causes relating teens and young adults with mental health challenges, and she is also an advocate for the LGBT community.
