The Bamboo Bass Festival Costa Rica takes place from February 16 to February 18 at the popular Jaco beach; this is the third edition of this event that brings together music, art and entertainment.
Bamboo Bass Festival is an international event that gathers bass music lovers from around the world. An exceptional roster of local and foreign talent will entertain hundreds of visitors in two lively stages; this year the lineup includes Paper Diamond, Minnesota “one of the most innovative and proficient electronic producers to come out of the West Coast bass music movement; Stickybuds, Dub Phizix & Strategy, Ganz, Truth; Costa Rican artists, Crypy, Huba, Jahricio, Malicia Indigena, among many others.
The event is targeted to an adult audience and will also offer live shoes such as dance, fire dance aerial rope, and different art installations like large murals and incredibly detailed graffiti.
“Bamboo Bass takes place at an awesome adventure park called Jaco Ropes. This popular ropes course lets people explore the expansive, ancient jungle through a series of obstacles. Bamboo Bass takes extra measures to ensure no harm is done to its surroundings—many trees are over 100 years old—as the festival kicks off for the weekend. The unbeatable location is just minutes away from downtown Jaco as well as the astonishing coastline, where you can soak in the warm Costa Rican sun” states the Festival’s website.
There is plenty to see and experience in Jaco, not just a great beach for surfing, but also a relaxed environment, plenty of lodging options, restaurants, bars and adventure such as canopy, ATV tours, horseback riding, Tarzan rope swing, amazing scenic beaches such as Hermosa are just a short drive away as well as several National Parks.
Tickets to the Festival vary in price depending on what it includes, day passes run $75.00, but there are also special full weekend passes, shuttle options, etc.
