Now we can all take pictures of everything anytime we want, but one thing is being able to take a decent selfie and another thing is to have the skills and knowledge to take amazing, breathtaking photos. If photography is something you enjoy, whether as a hobby or on a professional level and adventure travel is on your agenda, this is something you’ll certainly be interested in.
Costa Rican photographer and graphic designer Luis Solano Pochet, has gained a lot of popularity in and out of the country for his magnificent photos, his specialty: adventure photography.
Because of his passion for photography and traveling, Luis Solano founded To The Wonder in 2014 a project “Where photography, adventure and inspiration meet”, is his slogan.
TotheWonder went from a photography blog to the most important adventure photography blog and photo tour operator in Central America. “ToTheWonder® is a celebration of the awe-inspiring, that feeling of admiration and marvel caused by the power of nature. It emerges from the constant urge to travel, to feel the anxiety of the unknown and the freedom of being miles away from your day to day routine. That thrill that every day brings new things to discover” reads the ToTheWonder website.
He offers workshops designed for beginners, advanced and professional photographers, both in national locations as well as international locations. In total, he offers 20 activities which include: landscape photography, wildlife photography, macro photography, to mention a few.
The workshops offered are all inclusive, you can choose between national and international destinations and for a specific price you’ll receive professional photo guides, lectures and practical lessons, accommodation and full board and ground transportation; the only thing not included are plane tickets.
Currently To The Wonder is organizing workshops in Canada, Costa Rica, Iceland and Norway.
