Girl band Fifth Harmony confirmed its Latin America PSA tour and Costa Rica is among the countries where they will perform.

Production company Move Concerts is in charge of bringing the band to the country and has informed the concert will take place October 15 at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Parque Viva.

Fifth Harmony has currently four members Ally Broke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui, there used to be five, hence the name, but the fifth member Camila Cabello separated from the group on December 2016 to pursue a solo career.

Ally Broke is the oldest member of the group at 24, she is of Mexican descent; Normani Kordei is 21 and was born in Atlanta, Georgia, she also participated in season 24 of Dancing with the Star where she reached the finals and finished third; Lauren Jauregui, also 21 is of Cuban descent and was raised in Miami, FL; while Dinah Jane is the youngest at 20 years of age, she is of Polynesian and Tongan descent and was raised in Santa Ana, California.

The group was formed and “discovered” by Simon Cowell during the second season of the televised singing competition The X Factor in 2012, the band finished in third place and signed a joint record deal with Cowell.

The four girls are currently promoting their latest album 7/27 which was released in 2016 with hit songs such as Work from Home Worth it, The Life and Write on Me. Fifth Harmony has performed in stages in USA, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Japan, and Singapur. Their latest single “Down” is currently a big radio hit.

Prior to 7/27 the band released Reflection in 2015 and a short album named Better Together (2013)

The band has received several awards including the iHeartRadio Music Award, three MTV Europe Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards an American Music Award a Billboard Women in Music Award and seven Teen Choice Awards. They have sold 21 million copies in the United States.
