A teen idol, that’s what Justin Bieber is according to many… but in reality, the audience at the National Stadium in Costa Rica included not just teens but women (mainly) of different age groups.
The show was not sold out, Move Concerts, producer of the show, was still encouraging the followers through social media to buy the tickets at the stadium booth just hours prior to the concert, high prices for some locations may have played a role on this.
Still, young women were waiting outside the venue since 2 a.m. this Monday, and the line continued to get longer despite the strong sun of the morning hours and the heavy rain of the afternoon. The doors finally opened at 5 p.m.
At 7:30 sharp between fireworks (allowed for the first time at this venue), and an amazing light show, the Canadian artist came on stage to a screaming crowd.
Mark My Words and Where Are You Now? Marked the beginning of the concert, which only extended for one hour and thirty minutes; although fans wanted more, the quality of the show and Bieber’s performance was of first level, fans could be seen leaving the stadium with big smiles.
Love Yourself, Cold Water, Been You, What Do You Mean, Life is Worth Living, No Pressure, Let Me Love You were some of the songs performed by the 23-year-old artist who finished the show with the hit “Sorry” and wearing the purple t-shirt of local soccer team Saprissa
This concert was part of Bieber’s Purpose World Tour.
