Brit singer andsongwriter Ed Sheeran will give a concert in Costa Rica for the first time in June 6,2017 at the Coca Cola Amphitheater in Parque Viva.
The stop in Costa Rica is part of the singer’s world tour after the release of his most recent singles, “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill”, which have reached the first and sixth positions respectively in the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Both singles have accumulated over 370 million plays in iTunes to date and the official video of “Castle on the Hill” which was released this past Monday has already reached more than 10 million views.
25-year-old Edward Christopher Sheeran started appearing in the United States stages in 2012 when he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift’s album “Red”; he then opened Swift’s concerts for “The Red Tour” in North America; yet it was his single “Thinking Out Loud” from his album X released in 2014 that gained him popularity and two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
The production company Move Concerts is in charge of the concert in Costa Rica and will be providing more information on the ticket prices and sale dates in the upcoming weeks. Move Concerts is also the company bringing Justin Bieber in his also first presentation in the country.
