The eastern San José suburb of Curridabat is the planned site of a 25-story innovative residential tower to be undertaken by Civitar Desarrolladores, together with Constructora Volio & Trejos and Grupo Pijao.

Civitas Desarrolladores has built several recent unique towers in Costa Rica, many in conjunction with Constructora Volio & Trejos, including iFreses, Ü Nunciatura, and Nunciatura Flats.

The project, called XCALA, is in the “pre-sale” stage in which special discount prices will be offered.

Apartment prices start at US$81,500, with 15 percent of the total amount required as a down payment, and a special pre-sale offer of a 23-month zero interest payment plan, resulting in very affordable monthly installments of US$500.

The residence promises a great variety of innovative amenities and modern architecture; construction will begin in January 2018.

XCALA’s apartments, most of which have exceptional mountain and city views, should be ready during the first half of 2019. The residence is located near Curridabat’s M. Peralta park with short walking trails.

By incorporating a series of shared spaces, residents can enjoy an excellent quality of life with a diverse selection of activities without leaving the premises, said the development managers, Esteban Céspedes, and Denia Rosich.

The development’s 18 amenities offer enjoyment of all ages and include: PiXina Infinity Black (located on the roof of the building), Xolarium, Wine Club, Whiskey Room, Xtraordinary Work Stations, CaXino, Lux Cinema, Tea Xommelier, Xocial Rooftop Bar, Xterior Garden, Xpace Golf, Xtreme Gym, and Xmile Room for little ones, plus a common laundry room and a lending “library” where different objects can be checked out and used.

XCALA, which welcomes pets, will also have a Glam Room offering unisex beauty treatments inside the tower, as well as Xpa, with relaxing physical therapy and aesthetic treatments.
